First Jackson got together with this little cutie pie...
She was a little shy at first and wasn't sure about him but then she gave him a cute little smile and a friendship was born.
Jenny and I have been trying to get pictures of our littles together for several weeks but each time we had them together one would be asleep while the other was awake. They finally got to meet each other face to face this week.
It is always one of the highlights of my week to go to my best friends house. I cuddle up on one couch and her on the other side of the room on a couch, each of us with a baby and all of their stuff, and we talk all afternoon. We are in the same place in life and our conversations shift from one thing to the next with such ease. I don't know what I would do without her sometimes, she is like a sister to me.
Tonight we went to dinner with friends and it was de-lish. They have the cutest little boy...and funny too. He used to be so shy and quiet but he has blossomed into quite the character.
He liked all of Jackson's fun baby things, especially his car seat. He climbed right in to try it out.
Just before his bedtime we told him he could hold the baby and he climbed up on the couch so proud. He was so gentle and sweet. He would rub Jackson on the arm and say "it's ok baby, don't cry" and then look at his mom and say "he is a nice baby, mommy". Such a little mini daddy.
He would give him sweet little kisses!
And when it was time to go to bed he wasn't very happy but after many hugs and kisses he crawled into bed. A few minutes later we could all hear him from his room singing "baby, baby". It was so precious. These two are gonna be good buddies!!
He wasn't even jealous when his mommy held Jackson. I think it might be time for this beautiful mommy to have another little one!!
What a wonderful week with wonderful people!! We are so blessed to have such amazing friends that love our baby boy as much as we do. We love your babies too!!
Have a great weekend!
